NC Wedding Flowers

Welcome to Hen House Flowers!

Need a little help with your wedding flowers?

For micro weddings, I offer a menu of arranged wildflower wedding flower options for pickup from our farm’s flower studio, Hen House Flowers.

I offer done-for-you bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres and arrangements that feature seasonal local flowers for your big day without the stress or hassle of arranging them yourself.

Items are priced individually, so you can add a bridal bouquet or boutonnieres to a DIY wedding bulk bunch order or create your own wild flower wedding flower package or elopement package.

Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance and up to 1 month prior to the event (if availability allows).

Arranged wedding flowers are made to order with fresh NC flowers for your unique event, not premade arrangements.

NC Wildflower Wedding FAQ

  • It varies each season! I can generally work with most color palettes, but the flower types may vary. Seasonal local beauty is guaranteed, but specific flowers and exact colors are not. With 6-9 months notice, I can even custom grow flowers for your event!

You can always peek at what I’m planning to grow on my flower calendar. But note that weather and crop performance are fickle! My planting plan is a seasonal guide, not a guarantee. Seasonal local beauty

  • Yes! These are flowers we sustainably grow for a wildflower look. We don’t cut these from natural areas. Some NC wildflowers are protected species and many true wildflowers wilt quickly. We choose varieties that grow well and hold up for wedding and event work.

  • Good for you! Securing your event date is job #1. I am currently booking for the 2024 wedding season.

To inquire about availability, schedule a 15-minute phone consultation or email me. Note that your date is only secured once you sign your contract and pay the deposit.

We’ll spend a few minutes chatting so I can hear about your wedding visions and Pinterest plans and you can learn about my floral style and process.

If we are a good fit, I’ll send you a pricing proposal with colors and sample flower images for you to consider.

  • Like cakes, venues and dresses, it depends. The flowers and quantities you choose will have the greatest impact on your pricing. We can discuss options depending on your likes and needs.

A rule of thumb is to plan 10-15% of your wedding budget for a moderate mount of commonly available flowers. Increase that to 15-20% of your budget if you want lots of focal flowers, specialty flowers, or have a large bridal party.
